The Most Expensive Hot Dogs in America

People typically think about hot dogs as a cheap food, easy to eat on the go. But like all great American foods, someone, somewhere is selling a very expensive version of it. Here’s a look at some of the priciest hot dogs in the nation!

“The Boomstick” $26
Rangers Ballpark, Arlington, TX
This 3lb monster is covered in chili, jalapenos, nacho cheese, and caramelized onion. Also, the name is a nice nod to Evil Dead.

“The Dragon Dog” $100
DougieDog, Vancouver BC
What makes this dog so expensive is the bratwurst injected with Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac. That stuff will set you back about $2000 per bottle. The dog is topped off with sliced Kobe Beef and diced lobster.

“The ONEdog” $1,501
Hot Dog Mikes, Little Rock, AR
This lobster tail and gold flake topped 1/4lb ONEdog held the Guinness world record for most expensive hot dog in the world. The upside of such a crazy price? Owner Mike Juiliano donates $1500 of each sale to a homeless advocacy nonprofit. Bravo, Mike.

“The 230 Fifth Dog” $2,300
230 Fifth, New York
The ho dog itself is made of 60-day dry-aged Wagyu, the finest quality beef available in the U.S. Then it’s topped with Vidalia onions caramelized in Dom P., sauerkraut braised in Cristal, and caviar. This bad boy is no longer available, but when it was, consumers had to order two days in advance.
