Well, here we are, the Ides of March. Though that matters far less than the fact that yesterday was Pi Day and Sunday is St. Patrick’s Day. And if you’ve learned nothing else about St. Patrick’s Day, then learn this: there is always something going on, and you can be a part of it.
To prove this point, I decided to do a quick, random search to see what’s going on in my city and pulled out this example. It’s just that easy:
The Harp and Kelt Restaurant and Irish Pub, located in downtown Orlando, is busting out the epic combination of a trilogy of parties and fun for this St. Patrick’s Day. It starts tonight with lots of beer, fish and chips, and Irish-themed fun at this Irish-family-run establishment. Tomorrow night, they will continue the party with an outdoor beer garden with a full bar and live entertainment by Slick Wood. Finally, on Sunday, March 17, the actual day, they will be hosting an all day party (yes, allllllllll day) with traditional Irish food, beers, whiskeys, and music. So even if you’re not Irish (or maybe you are and you haven’t enjoyed the Irish traditions in some time…like ever), you can check out the Harp and Kelt and go have a great Irish time!
Now, if that doesn’t float your boat, that’s okay. There’s still plenty you can do this weekend…you just have to look for it. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
