I know, I’m going nuts on these Valentine’s Day cocktails. But they sound so good. And if we get through these recipes now, then you can start your shopping list. This will be the last one though, but you never know. But what I do know is that we remind you to drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive.
Chief of Affections
-1/4 part egg white (dry shaken)
-1 sage leaf
-1 and 1/2 parts JM Rhum Agricole
-1/2 part Aperol
-3/4 part grapefruit juice
-1/2 part lime juice
-1/2 part cane syrup
-1 part Jacobs Creek Sparkling Rose Moscato
Serve this in a rocks glass, top with the Moscato, garnish with the sage leaf, and feel the love sweep over you.
Chocolate Covered Strawberry
-2 ounces Godiva White Chocolate Liquor
-1 ounce Chombard
-2 ounces milk
Take a martini glass (chilled preferably) and rim it with the cocoa powder (if you’ve never rimmed a glass, you just dip the rim in water, then dip it in the powder, like salt on a margarita). Pour the Godiva white chocolate liquor, Chombard, and milk in a shaker, shake it gently, then pour it in the glass. Garnish with the strawberry, and enjoy the swooning.
-2 ounces Frangelico
-1/2 ounce grenadine
-1/2 ounce Kahlua
-1 cherry or Hershey kiss
Combine Frangelico and grenadine in a cocktail shaker and shake it until foamy. Yes, foamy. Strain it into a martini glass, then top with Kahlua. Garnish with the cherry or the kiss. And then top it for your sweetie with a kiss.
There you go. Tons of Valentine’s Day cocktail ideas for your sweetie. Keep in mind that you don’t have to make all of them…that’d be weird. Just choose the one or two that you know your honey will love, and show your honey you love her. Happy Valentine’s Day!
