The American Culinary Federation (ACF) has announced the dates and locations of their 2013 Regional Conferences! The conferences are a collaborative effort between the ACF and its local chapters to help professionals and students in the culinary industry network with others, catch up on the latest culinary trends, and observe demonstrations from experienced chefs. It’s also a fantastic way to earn continuing education hours!
There are four regional conferences planned:
• Louisville, KY: March 1 – 4 (Louisville Marriott Downtown)
• Verona, NY: March 17 – 20 (Turning Stone Resort Casino)
• Couer D’Alene, ID: April 12 – 15 (Couer D’ Alene Resort)
• Little Rock, AR: April 28 – May 1 (Peabody Little Rock and Statehouse Convention Center)
At every conference, individuals can soak in some of the local flavors and culinary traditions during instructional programs. There will also be competitions for regional and national titles, including “Chef of the Year, Pastry Chef of the Year, Chef Educator of the Year, Student Chef of the Year, and more.” Team competitions will also be offered!
The ACF National Conference will be held in Las Vegas, NV July 21-25 the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
