The Love Doctor is back with some more advice for each and every one of you guys looking to take your lady out for a romantic night. And why is that information important? Well, in case you haven’t noticed, we’re less than a month away from the most romantic night of the year. No, I’m not talking about Super Bowl Sunday; I’m talking about Valentine’s Day. And no, it’s never too early to plan for this night because, quite frankly, most restaurants will fill quickly. But this story is not so much about picking the right place; it’s about avoiding the choice of a wrong place.
Case in point: rumors have been flooding the office of word that someone we know had an opportunity to take a young lady out for a night on the town. She was dressed to the hilt: beautiful dress, nice stiletto shoes, hair done perfectly. And where did he take her? To Chili’s. Now, let me just say for the record that I am not disparaging Chili’s. It is a fine chain with a great menu and excellent service, but for a first date with a beautiful young woman who appears to have spared no expensive in making herself look as amazing as she could, Chili’s may not be the best first date spot.
Now I’ve heard conflicting stories of how that particular date turned out, but nonetheless…gentlemen, you want to impress your woman. You want her to know that you appreciate her for everything she is and everything she makes you. While the calendar doesn’t dictate when we should show that appreciation, there are traditionally three dates we can choose to use to highlight it; one of them is February 14th. On that night, plan early and plan wisely. Chili’s is good for a Friday night after a long week where you just want to enjoy a stress-free night. But if you’re aiming for romance…make it a good shot.
There is the sneak peak of our list of romantic hot spots already on the blog, but more will be coming soon. Stay tuned…
