The Daily City reports that Bob Snow, the man behind the original Church St. Station, could be developing “The Great American Food Truck and Music Festival” for Orlando. A meeting was held with local food truck owners on January 2 to talk about this project. The plans call for 20 permanent food truck slots, “hand-picked” from dozens of eligible trucks around Florida.
According to the Daily City, the Snow’s plans call for it to be permanently located on the site of the Festival Bay Mall on I-Drive – adjacent to the Premium Outlets Mall.
The plans call for a large bar and seated dining area to be located at the location as well. Live music will be on the menu nightly as well as a fresh fruit gazebo.
The Festival Bay Mall is under consideration for a total renovation with Bob Snow’s Snow & Associates on deck as the developer. The Daily City reports that the interior of the mall would be designed after a European-style marketplace bazaar with loads of entertainment, dining, and shopping.
What I’m most excited about…the plans call for a PERMANENT CIRCUS. If made a reality, this would be the only permanent circus in the U.S. That’s what I’m talkin’ ’bout…
