Every holiday season, it’s important to remember those who are less fortunate. On December 23, the Crisis Intervention Team of the Orange Country Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a holiday cook-out and clothing giveaway at Pathways Drop-In Shelter for the mentally ill homeless.
Pathways is a mental health, peer-run community center for homeless people suffering from major mental illnesses. Pathways offers the basic life necessities that most people take for granted, food, clothing, a place to shower and wash clothes, a phone and computer and most importantly companionship.
Pathways is seeking clothes donations for the winter as well as hygienic products, blankets, pillows – no donation is too small. See the full list of desired donations in the flyer above.
