The 2012 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival has begun! The festival features wine and food from around the world – sanctioned off into over 30 marketplaces. Your liver and stomach can take a trip around the world in one glutenous afternoon!
For the first year ever, the festival will features a “Florida Local” booth that offers selections brewed, grown, and cooked here in the Sunshine State! Selections at the Florida Local booth include: White Corn Aepa with Mangalitse Pork Rillette, Zellwood Sweet Corn Salad, Florida Shrimp Ceviche with Fire Roasted Vegetables, and Fried Plantains with Cilantro. Drink offerings include the Florida Beer Company’s Florida Lager and Key West Southernmost Wheat as well as Florida Orange Groves’ Key Limen and Hurricane Class 5, Florida White Sangria.
Sure you can get those selections every day right here in Florida, but stop by the Florida Local booth anyway and show your support! The EpCOT International Food and Wine Festival runs through November 12, 2012.
