Mars Rover “Curiosity” Lands Safely; Sign Me Up for First Mars Colony

The Mars rover “Curiosity” landed safely on Mars last night. I gave a little fist-pump when I read the news this morning. The purpose of the rover is to search for indications that Mars is or was habitable, to take photos, and to send back soil-samples. The next step? Colonization, duh.

Bravo for human ingenuity! It’s nice to see people from all walks of life coming together to gather knowledge for the advancement of the human race, not just to compete for medals. (I’m sick of the Olympics).
