Landmarks and Monuments of Jacksonville, FL

One Fat Frog’s crew makes plenty of deliveries in Jacksonville (free delivery!), but it’s a shame they don’t have the time to admire Jacksonville’s several landmarks, monuments, and historical attractions. One Fat Frog’s crew is usually haunting the backs of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. delivering and maintaining kitchen equipment for the city of Jacksonville. Here’s some of the sights to see if you’re visiting Jacksonville!

The Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Wall is an impressive 65-foot long black-granite monument dedicated to the 1,500+ citizens of Jacksonville who gave their lives in the armed service.

The Jacksonville Friendship Fountain, located at 835 Museum Circle, at the end of Jacksonville’s Southbank River Walk. One of the largest fountains in the world, the Friendship Fountain features jets of water that shoot up to 100 feet. The fountain is located next to Jacksonville’s Museum of Science and History – another excellent attraction.

At 12713 Fort Caroline Rd. stands the Fort Caroline National Memorial. This memorial is a commemoration of the establishment of the French settlement of La Caroline in 1564.

Adjacent to Jacksonville is St. Augustine, a major historical town in its own right. St. Augustine is home to the stunning Castillo de San Marcos, a late-17th century masonry fort.

Besides Jacksonville, One Fat Frog offers free delivery to Orlando and its surrounding areas. Call for details!
