Quick list of common sinks used in foodservice industry:

Scullery / 3 Compartment / Triple / Three Compartment sink:  commonly comes with left and right drainboard, also optional is the sprayer nozzle (highly recommended depending upon your application)

Double Sink / Prep Sink: This sink has two bays/ compartments.  It may come with a left or right drainboard.

Single Sink/ Prep Sink:  This sink has one bay/ compartment.  It may come with a left or right drainboard.

Handwash sink:  This is to meet health code and will be a a separate sink for cleanliness.

Bar Sink: This is a shorter sink and often has raised and baffled drainboards.  The compartments are also generally a different size than traditional scullery sinks.  Depth, in particular, is important to these sinks so that you can wash beer mugs, martini glasses, etc for quick turn around.
