So not sure I ever told you, at Orlando’s One fat Frog Restaurant Equipment  have some used menu boards for restaurants and delis and stores in stock- big and little we have them.  Also going to pick up some equipment today in Jacksonville so more inventory tomorrow.  And our team at One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment is growing, growing.  We’ve had to hire more staff to keep up with volume of new and used restaurant and food service equipment sales.  This (hiring more technicians, administrative and sales team) brings me one of the biggest pleasures in life.  We’re busy training this week and next week.  Nothing better than sharp employees who can help clients.  We’ve got a very high bar for our team at th and everyone is dedicated to working hard to build your restaurant.  Frog Team Members love our fast paced high volume atmosphere and seem to thrive off our go- go- go energy.

What does doing straight business mean?  That means getting you the equipment you need, nothing more and nothing less.  We’re honest folks, we’re here to put you and keep you in business.  At One Fat Frog Food service equipment we are dedicated to getting you equipment that will work for you.  Part of our training program for new team members is that we never, ever sell based on a client’s ignorance and if you can get the client something with the same functionality at a better price then you are to be honest and say that.  It’s not about getting the highest ticket prices or pumping the most money out of a deal, it’s about doing right in life and part of that is doing good straight business.  If, at the end of the day, I can feel we’ve done fair business with you and stood behind what we do then life is good.

On a few side notes, yesterday was hectic but I had the pleasure of talking with Patty who we’re incubating to open in a few months.  Gosh, I love working with startups and so had the pleasure to give her what she needed to start the restaurant business plan.  I’m not a born sales person and honestly sales isn’t my big love.  As a former teacher and principal my true love is training and educating and that is something I through this website and at the stores by sitting down with clients and talking food service and restaurant business plan content.  And, catch me on the right day I’ve been told I’m quite the marketing genius… or idiot savant…hahahah… Maybe I’m like rainman with the forty watches on his arm but I have forty refrigerators.  That’s it- I’m the rain man of restaurant equipment, watch out Dustin Hoffman, there’s a new Rainman coming to town!

Oh yeah and my traipsings through the warehouse led me to some special finds- a like new 2912 Hobart slicer, a plethora of 48″ and 60″ refrigerated prep tables and at least 10 undercounter and worktop refrigerators and freezers.
