A little bit about us…

At the Frog we like to say we’re different than the other dealers out there.  A) we have a wicked sense of humor, you either get it or you don’t, b) we have a staff of folks here to make you happy- folks in two locations who specialize in technical, refurbishing, refinishing, painting, and basically taking the equipment down to bare bones to check it out and make sure it’s equipment we would be proud to sell our momma, c) we like to play on the internet which translates to a lot of stuff out there on the net about us, d) we speak many languages, e) we have some crazy obsession with restaurant equipment and talk about it even when we’re not at work.

So, if you’re opening a new restaurant, well you’ve come to the right place.  We have helped thousands open in the years we have been open.  We like to think creatively and out of the box, we’re not stick in the mire of “doing this for generations” and maybe, just maybe there is a better way of doing things out there.

We like to listen to our customers and help them have a good experience.

Now we’re in the midst of a huge growth spurt.  You know that spurt where you’re so busy you’re about to explode and yet you still keep it up?  So bear with us folks.  Yes, you might actually be on hold (we’ll never ship our calls off to India) or have to wait when you come in because we’re just slammed.

We attribute this great growth at the Frog to YOU.  Your support helps us in this down economy and we’re busier than ever.  Last Thursday we had a whole bunch of referrals and thank you for it!  Heard from one of our fav clients- Patrick sent in a new bar opening.  Thanks, Patrick, we love working with your friends.   Also several other referrals.

You might notice, we’re not big in phone books.  We’ve never had to do that for business.  In fact, our first year and a half of business we didn’t even have a sign.  The Frog was busy enough without that.

Thank you for your respect, your referrals and your business.  We are grateful to you and pass it down the line from you.  Your goodwill allows us to be good stewards in the community.  That is our greater mission/ purpose in life.  It’s not truly stainless steel, it’s making this world a better place.  Just like you, through your cooking and blessing the food we eat for nourishment bring happiness to us.

Sexiest restaurant equipment dealer

Wow, so the Divine Miss T just used her foot to kick open one of the warehouse doors as she moved a case of beer mugs in her Pittsburgh t-shirt to the smallwares warehouse.  Girl is outta control!

So the warehouse guys want to get in the swing of this too.  They’re feeling now that the Big Guy got manscaping and is sexy like stat, that they’re out of the loop.  Since our gals are all showing a little cleavage, the Restaurant Equipment Doctor unbuttoned another button on the garanimals and well I guess he’s now joined us as part of the sexiest restaurant equipment sales staff out there.  I mean we’ve got man-cleavage too… it just doesn’t get better than this.

Well, actually I think it does, because Star Trek dress up day has been post=poned in favor of boys dress as girls and girls dress as boys day.  I just think the boys want more of Sexy Sarah and the Divine Miss T dressed up in guy apparel with the hint of getting on the forklife.

So come on in, even if you’re not one of the beautiful people we have room for ugly folks with man cleavage… (just kidding Restaurant Equipment Doctor, do not poison the water supply now that I’ve said that or try to trip me with extension cords)

Interesting note…

In the past few days we have had customers who really knew what they wanted down to the point that they researched us and the competition.  To the point that they came in and said, “we decided to do business with One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment because of  your good reputation.”   This gentleman went on further to say, “we found open court cases against some of your competition and also extensive complaints with the Better Business Bureau.  But you guys have been around for several years and have a great reputation.  It’s amazing.”  Well, actually it’s not really amazing, it’s how we do business.   Value- Integrity- Honesty- it’s more than a catchphrase around One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment.

My mouth was open.  I never realized customers would go to these lengths to check a company out, but they had and they had data on most dealers in Central Florida.   Sure was glad I worked for One Fat Frog and that we really mean what we say and stand behind doing the right thing.
