Huge sales this week & trucks coming in

Sorry I haven’t been online much this week.  I’ve been working hard with startups and the equipment we’re getting in and training new employees.  It’s been crazy busy.

We’re also excited we are picking up daily donations from Gordon Food Service for the Homeless Shelter.  Their generosity is to be spoken about loudly.  A company with a good heart is hard to find!  Our finance manager is picking up food donations daily and we’re also sending trucks on larger days.

I’d like to brag about a few of our customers who are doing great and thank you, Joe, for the dessert… I’m now a full size bigger… yum!   Nicole and David stopped in… nice to see more success.  Success, that’s what it’s about.  I’ve helped close a lot of businesses and open a lot.  I got an idea of what it takes to succeed and if you’re not ready to open I’ll encourage you to do a bit more research before you do.  To us at the Frog it’s not about the sale, it’s about helping you succeed.  We have enough business to make it without your sale.

Here’s some used stuff that came in that just is getting inventoried end of last week:

Today we’ve got a team in St. Augustine and Jacksonville and Mr. Bossman is headed to meet with clients up there.  That’s pretty nifty in my book.  *BUT*  the coolest thing is he’s got a sweet little mini-meeting with a charity up there we’ve been hearing a lot about.  It’s called Character Counts!  and we’re hoping to do a little donating with them.  Here’s our thing.  At One Fat Frog, we are a community-based business and giving back to the community is our middle name.  With the amount of business we do in Jax and St. Aug it’s about time that One Fat Frog has a pet charity up there, too.  We’ve been good to Pathways Drop In Shelter for the Mentally Ill Homeless here in Orlando and now we’re hoping to add this new charity to our list of those we help out.  Today’s meeting is just a quick overview, meet and greet and really to get the boss to buy into what the charity is about and to see if we can donate some chairs, tables and stacking stools.

Anyways, that’s my GREAT news for the day and I’m sticking to it!  Happy Monday, folks, surround yourself with good and watch the good come of it!

Gorgeous Week!

What a gorgeous week at One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment!  From all of the families at the Frog, a heartfelt thank you.  And the cutest thing this week?  One of our delivery guys brought his two year old son to see me after work.  Little Jordan prays with daddy… this just made me smile!   One of these days we’ll round up all the Frog kids for a party and get a picture.  We gotta buy a wide lens for that picture- well over 40 kids eat each week due to the frog and YOUR support!

I admit it was a week at the Frog, two of our team members had family members in the hospital.  Luckily we were able to flex around them without waves.  Used to be the day we were a one-man band and We are grateful that one of our guy’s girlfriends and one of our guy’s daughters were both released from their respective hospitals and all is well again. 

A little bummed today as one competitor seems to spend a lot more time focused on our business rather than their own.  I wish they were as preoccupied with donating and they took on a pet charity.  Imagine the good they could do if they focused their energy in a productive and not hateful way! 

On another note it seems we had a mother-in-law traveling into town and there was a little angst among that member.  Lol… but isn’t mother-in-law visit a bit daunting anyway?  Needless to say someone’s house is extra sparkling clean, for sure!

As to the rest of us, we’d like to wish you a fabulous Mother’s Day!
