Going above and beyond today and everyday

At One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment, we like to help out our customers as much as we possibly can. If that means cleaning equipment in the pouring rain, we’ll do it. Take a look at the Divine Miss T. This girl spent the majority of the afternoon cleaning a steam table spotless in the chilly rain so that our customer, who drove down from Gainesville, would be pleased. The steam table wasn’t working properly, so the Equipment Doctor also had to work some magic and got it running. I cannot tell you how proud we are of our staff. Job well done to Tina and the Doc!

The popularity of the “Frog”

We all know how popular One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment is with it’s customers from across the globe, but have you realized how popular frogs have become? Not only do they star in commercials, but now they have major motion pictures about them! Check out, “The Princess and the Frog” just to see what I mean. An animated Disney film and the star role is a FROG! We’d like to think that we had something to do with that. Word of mouth had to have gotten around to the Disney execs how popular our little frog is – so they must have figured a frog would do well for them, too. Hey! I think we should be getting a little piece of the pie with this new “Princess and the Frog” movie!

All kidding aside, we hope the “Princess and the Frog” does well. Although we may not be as popular as the frog in the movie, one day we will be. This movie can only boost a frog’s image!  We have to support our fellow froggies out there! Frog domination!

update on combo walk-in fridge freezer for sale

Just a quick update on the used walk-in cooler / freezer combination unit that will be coming in later this week.  We will have exact schematics of it later this week, but for now let’s say it’s approximately 12 ft by 15 ft.  We were told that the unit was approximately five years old.  Looks to be in good shape and our own team will be disassembling it.

Hope you’re feelin’ extra Smurfy today!

In case you haven’t noticed, the employees here at One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment aren’t your standard employees. We’re all a bit off our rocker, so to speak, so the title of this blog entry should not surprise you. I’ll tell you how all the smurfiness happened – we were eating some of the Google Girl’s left over birthday cake, when the Divine Miss T mentions something about her teeth being all blue (thanks to the icing). The pregnant lady said, “Looks like you’ve been sucking the toe of a smurf!” and that’s when all the smurfy phrases starting pouring out. My particular favorite was, “You don’t know the smurf of it!”. As I type this, I am smurfing up all over again! HA! Gotta….catch…..my…..breath!

At any rate – it’s been pretty smurfy around here at the Frog today and we just wanted to share our smurfiness with you this wonderful Holiday season!
