Used inventory

We’ve had a huge run on used equipment this past two weeks.  Apologies if you’ve called and not received an immediate response.  It’s been literal days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. running.

Please note if you call and email us about equipment, we sell it first come first serve.  We don’t hold equipment nor can we guarantee it in stock if you wait a week or two.  As one of our friendly competitors says, “Connie, if there’s one thing, you’re not a museum.”  So, even if we quote you a piece of used equipment, we can’t guarantee that it will be in stock beyond that very moment in time.

Additionally if you’re seeing items on our websites or on the internet, please do look at the date of the ad and if you’re in doubt then call and verify it’s in stock.  We’ve had a few folks come in lately asking for used items we had posted during the summer.  Would love to sell you the item, but if it’s not in, well it’s not in.

As always, happy holidays and may your restaurants continue to flourish-

Set of 40 should be here on Wednesday afternoon.  Look like they’re in great shape.  I have seen this style used inside or outside- patio or front of the house for both stylish looks.  You’ll be quite impressed seeing them inside a contemporary facility.  Call (407) 936-2733 for further information at One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment.

Eustis High School Culinary Arts Students Volunteer

Sometimes you get some heartwarming news that just needs to be shared-

Thanks to Chef Jeff for sharing this tidbit!

EHS Culinary Arts Student’s woke up early Sunday (December 7th) to feed the homeless.

8 Eustis High School students with the help in Chefs from The American Culinary Federation (ACF) met at EHS at 8:15 Sunday morning to prepare dinner for residents and homeless at the Christian Care Center (CCC) of Leesburg.  The meal consisted of Mixed Green Salad with homemade Ranch Dressing;  Turkey Parmesan; Creole Spaghetti; Eggplant Parmesan; Sautéed Fresh Squash; Homemade Italian Bread; and of course, EHS’ famous cookies.  Chef Rick Peres, CE,  Chef Matthew Dennis, CEC, and Tom See assisted Chef Rotz and his team of volunteers.  EHS’ Culinary Class is well known for its volunteer work in the community.  The class and other members from the ACF plan on volunteering at least once every 6 weeks at the Care Center.  The “Ministry Village” is located in the heart of downtown Leesburg. The Ministry Village includes a Men’s Residence, Women’s Care Center, Emergency Children’s Shelter, long-term Children’s Residential Group Home, Benevolence Ministry, Pregnancy Care Center.  The ACF Gulf to Lakes Chefs & Cooks Association is conducting a food drive to provide meals for 200 families.  We are still in need of donations of both food items and cash.  Remember, we are always looking for volunteers!
If you see any of these fine members of our community, thank them for the caring that they are willing to give.

We are very happy to share some good news about one of our Jacksonville clients– Blessings to Wendy and her family in Jacksonville as her husband was deployed overseas and returned today safe and sound.

Charity highlight: Pathways

At One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment we pride ourselves in working with the community and we donate monthly to various charities.  Lately it seems we have focused a lot more on Pathways.  My visit there today really reaffirmed why we are working with them.  I’ll be posting more once I’ve digested fully what I saw and their needs.

For now I can say that basically any donations- monetary, in kind or targeted are more than welcome.  Tomorrow I will be posting their paypal address for donations.

The folks who benefit from Pathways were so gracious and thankful.  I know I’ve often wondered where my donated monies go with different charities.  I have no doubt at Pathways.

So if I’ve not yet asked you to donate, well look in your e-mail tomorrow as you’ll see a request.   And if you have anything in kind you need to donate you’re always welcome to drop it off at One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment, 1137 W. Airport Blvd, Sanford, FL 32773 or if you want to stay anonymous just call Connie at 407-936-2733 and we can discuss the shelter’s needs.
